I think if we end up without qualifying for Europe, it will be a blessing in disguise for a coach with philosophy like Xabi Alonso. It makes his work easier. More time to work and fresh players every weekend. I don’t know about you but Personally, I prefer no Europe if it's not Champions League. But it doesn't mean I don't want to win the FA Cup and qualify for the Europa League. I will take that too.

I was going to tweet about this but I was waiting for the right time because of my algorithm issue as a small account. I thought about it the moment the news broke that he wouldn’t mind taking the job even without European football, and I said to myself… this could actually be a blessing in disguise. No Champions League pressure means more time on the training ground, more time to implement his ideas properly, build chemistry and shape the team without being thrown straight into elite-level chaos. By the time we qualify for Europe again next season, his team would already have a clear identity, structure and understanding of his football. Sometimes taking one step back is exactly what helps a club take two steps forward.
