@BrainsRus You are absolutely correct. Would angled implants improve this? We are currently trying to develop methods to avoid implants altogether. However, they still require injections.

@ArenkielLab Imagine putting a probe into the amygdala from above. The CT fibers and the tail of the striatum would be lesioned. Go into NAc and you sever the PFC axons going through striatum. Controls tell you these connections aren't important for the behavior.
