dean didn’t sleep with, and especially didn’t date ANYONE in the later seasons, apart from amara which hardly counts as it’s coercive at best. deans biggest focus in life was his family and keeping them safe. ultimately, being family to dean is the highest love you can receive.

jensen who hated deanjo, hated deanamara, didn’t like deanlisa storyline? i think he just doesn’t see dean settling romantically with Anyone. and that fits deans character a lot more. i rlly don’t think cas’ vessel would make a difference. he just doesn’t ship dean with anyone.
