@StarWarsDaily_ Any Maul that exists after TPM because being cut in half is fatal and he should be dead.

@OtterNonsensee @Is1dore That fight was quite realistic imo. Vader isn't some godly being with zero flaws, his suit and lack of agility + Maul's superior skill with a lightsaber put him at a disadvantage.

@Is1dore EU Clone Maul almost killing Vader was the stupidest shit ever and still is. There shouldn’t even be a contest between the two. Vader would dog walk Maul, and it’s not even close. It was only done that way because of how many fans love Maul and wanted to see that fight happen.

A resurrected Maul in the EU was able to nearly kill Vader in a 1v1. He's supposed to be a terrifying force of nature Instead of setting up Maul to be an awesome villain protagonist who could be the only one of Sidious's apprentices ambitious enough to overthrow him, we get this

@lukesoutpost Remember in rebels when Vader is coming and Maul looks terrified and says “I can’t defeat him alone”? They could be about to show the reason for that

@lukesoutpost Please. Vader barely clinched a win against him in the comics after losing the lightsaber duel and taking heavy damage to his suit. Guy had to stab himself to kill Maul
