Kosovo is being forced into new elections because of the deliberate, calculated boycott of the obstructionist clique of PDK, LDK, AAK and Srpska Lista. Kurti offered the opposition 4 ministries and the position of Deputy Prime Minister, they refused. He offered them the President of the Assembly, they refused. He offered them to name 3 nominees for President, they refused. Rather than participate in the democratic process, rather than cast their votes and let the institutions function as Kosovo’s Constitution demands, the opposition have walked away from their responsibilities and held the entire country hostage to their narrow political interests.

🇽🇰 Vjosa Osmani’s first statement following the collapse of the Kurti government: “Last night was a difficult one for Kosovo, but this people has risen even from much harder moments.” She continued her message toward Albin Kurti’s LVV and its supporters: “Enough with the propaganda, enough with the hatred, enough with the division and the spreading of fear. Enough. Where there is hatred, we must bring only love for one another and for our country.” She called on citizens to join her mission.
