I don't know why, but I've been really struggling to connect with game narriatives on an emotional level lately. I had some investment with Trails in the Sky, but FFVII I was only interested in Zack. Couldn't care less about the other characters. And Clair Obscur last night, I legit didn't care about anyone, or the story for that matter. It felt so forced, like I was supposed to be invested in a character dying 3 minutes after I met them. Could be my general malencholy at the moment caused by burn out at work. The rare bright spots are when I get to interact with ya'll and help people in this space. Maybe I need to go play Crisis Core again, bawl my eyes out at the ending for the third time......

Welp, I played Clair Obscur. Sorry for the rage. I know people rave about this game, but I just did not connect with the story. And OMFG those QTE's just didn't work half the time. I didn't hear an audio cue before people say that. Don't think I'll be continuing, kind of a waste of money but like, seriously, blegh. Those present will be relieved to hear my PS4 controller has survived, it did require some minor surgery though and I like it's weight loss journey results. Love ya'll, see ya Thursday for FFXIV

Day 2 of Phone in Lockbox I felt the itch to use it many times! Watching a video while I cook, or to check messages at morning/before bed! Its kind of surreal to feel that urge and not be able to follow through with it!! That said, I've read more manga and been more productive!
