@YamanataVault Also there’s probably a bit of Darwinism at play here: if one of the young isn’t able to withstand the explosions, it can’t hunt, dies out, only leaving the ones that can survive the explosions around

Couldve stopped at it looking dumb. I think the idea behind brachy is that it fights like a thug, & a thug headbutting opponents is very fitting. We got punch shrimps irl so a fictional headbutting dinosaur shouldnt be too surprising
Plus lots of volcanic monsters are armored

The head crest looks so dumb and makes no sense with how it supposedly hunts. Theres also just a bunch of little things like the lack of armor on the belly where it would be needed most and slime mold seeming kinda unnecessary when they already have massive hammer fists

@YamanataVault Nothing that issmaller than itself has enough in the damage or the utility department to abuse the unarmored tummy, plus getting close enough to use that fact is kinda hard when you got something with hammers for fists that also explode can’t handle before it becomes a issue

@YamanataVault Also I think it’s supposed to also be like boxing head gear they use in training to protect from concussions, and the no armor under the belly thing isn’t really accurate because brachy is somewhat smaller compared to other larger threats it would encounter in it’s habitats

@affinity4anime Like my favorite example of this comes from Aetherdrift, Caradora and Lagorin both could have been a single card with the card type system you want to introduce but instead we get two cards that synergies goes beyond what it would have been if they were just one card

This could possibly be a useful game tool for cards where the creature is clearly riding a mount. Like... what if Coalition Skyknight was type "Human Knight & Bird"? Always bothers me, especially when the mount is important. Otherwise, why is this human flying?

For team-up cards like Slimefoot and Squee, what if there was an ampersand between their creature types as a way of specifying they're two separate creatures?
I don't know where I'm going with this... Just the ramblings of a graphic designer overthinking punctuation. Thoughts?

@affinity4anime I agree, I think that if we’re getting to the point of using a single card to show two or more individuals of note, why not just make two individual cards? Or why not two sided cards? Or why not partner with cards? There’s a lot of ways to make that work besides the type line

@affinity4anime if it was a thing where this only affected new cards going forward, and then opened up the design space in a way that was available in multiple settings then sure it could work, but all I can think of that isn’t just janky typal brews would fundamentally change the game design

@Motionstahp Honestly I think if lands could be built in such a way where they’re separate from the main deck, and you could choose to either draw either deck at the start of your turns, I would be so much happier

@Controlqueen31 Honestly one of the funniest combos with him is to use 3 tokens and a path of exile to ramp by exiling your own tokens, of course you can also destroy ur opponents bords but orzhov land ramp is very funny
