@SangmaConrad @narendramodi Sir I'm a student of USTM, the COVID cases rising in our campus day by day . In hostel there's the same situation. Please instruct institutions to conduct online classes. I'm in quarantine from 10th Jan after tested positive and I'm double vaccinated.

Today we deliberated on matters related to #COVID & the aggressive #VaccinationDrive to be executed in the State. Discussions also held on the implementation models of the Jan Aushadhi Kendra Scheme, safe motherhood scheme & the set up of Rural Health Clinics. @drharshvardhan

@SangmaConrad Sir hostelers are used common canteen and common bathroom too. If one of the student get positive it will spread like bushfire. So please close the university hostel first

All schools to close from tomorrow for the next 14 days till 4th May, 2021 in the Shillong area. Ongoing MBOSE examinations will continue unaffected. Govt. & Pvt. offices will also function with 50% capacity. The situation in other districts is being closely monitored.

#Meghalaya will close its doors to tourists from outside the state from 23rd April 2021 however, local tourism will continue. There will also be closure in tourist locations that have high tourist footfall. The time frame of RT-PCR tests will be reduced from 72 to 48 hrs.
