Lately been specializing and working on more client mobile DTC ads. Focused on pacing, storytelling, and keeping the visuals clean and premium with a clear CTA at the end.

Hey fellow editors, do the rest of us a favor. STOP following just to get followers and then un-follow literally days after. Not a classy move at all.

Edited a 26s direct-response Meta ad for a DTC brand. Priorities: • Scroll-stopping hook • Tight pacing • Clear benefit communication • Strong CTA In paid social, the goal isn’t fancy editing. It’s stopping the scroll and making the offer obvious.

@SanchitSah38207 Nah that client was buggin. You protected your worth. One ask for a free edit turns into several asks for free edits. No thanks. But I can't lie, depending on how much the client is paying me already for monthly retainers, if it's A LOT, a 9 second free edit I don't mind.

Hi fellow editors... I need your opinion on this, So i have a client for whom i have been working for about 1 year. I basically edit reels for him(motion graphics ). Recently he asked me if i could do saas motion graphics.. i said yes. He wanted a 9 sec free sample. To which i politely replied no, i said if it was paid i could do it. He said i don't like money oriented people and also said " i'm your client i'm not someone who you don't work with or don't know". I replied "it's fine if you don't agree but this is how i work". He then ended the conversation with " anyways that shows a lot, thank you". Now tell me was i justified in asking for the payment or not? Or am i being greedy and should have done it for free.

@byjoni_ This had me wheezin, exactly how I feel right now learning Resolve. Nodes suck, period. They make sense....until they don't make sense every 10 minutes.

You genuinely don't need to be famous to get clients. I have students with 40 followers closing $2K+ deals. Because they posted ONE high-quality Before/After.

@IAmAaronWill Was literally just having a conversation with my friend about this who said 10k a month is not enough lol. He was saying this as someone who earns roughly about 7k a month after taxes. 10k is life changing, I don't care what anyone says.

The whole $10k a month has become too much of a meme. I don’t think people understand how much $10k a month is. A lot of people see it as the bare minimum starting revenue. $10k a month is more than most of the top jobs in the world pay. Stop thinking it’s bad lol.

Trying and completing under uncertainty is the actual skill that compounds. Not talent. Not confidence. Not luck. The willingness to show up without guarantees.
