Woof, Veilguard is pretty but them not giving you a tank for hours and having agro enemies is really bad. You wanna a play as a staff mage or archer? Hope you enjoy rolling and kiting while your two companions go pew pew instead!

Things I do really like though - so many cute clothes and you can cover your armor with any of them but keep the armor stats!!! I literally change my outfit for every new quest so that it matches the vibes. Love it when rpgs remember that they’re glorified dress up games.

I have very mixed feelings so far. I’m enjoying it, it’s gorgeous, VAs are great, but it’s the most complaints I’ve had on the first playthrough for any game in the series. Bad combat choices, a messy skill tree, and some weird lore choices make it a mixed bag.

@Rhino77Ryan It’s so beautiful and I am enjoying it, but there’s a few mechanical choices that are annoying to the point of pausing and taking a break.

@ArkadyKoshka That decision reeks of them rushing to get the game out before their deadline and cutting corners to do so

Mostly enjoying Veilguard, but the lack of a quick save key is absolutely killing me. I am praying for a patch adding one, I cannot fathom why they didn’t include one. It’s completely immersion breaking and a waste of time to manually save.
