@kijuler That does feel like an aspect people gloss over of it not just being translations but localization, some jokes only work in the context of their language so you'd probably need to spend as much time making sure that joke works

dont they tho...? they own sonic. sonic exe is directly based around the sonic franchise. it has sonic In The Name. i guarantee sega would not be very appreciative if someone tried publishing a sonic exe game to digital marketplaces like steam

@NullVoxxed Yeah, Archie sonic is certainly more flawed than most others sonics with those traits, some parts intentional, other parts not. Always felt like he enjoyed undermining the villains cause it takes away their intimidation factor and morale

Feels interesting seeing people describe a different Sonic (Archie) when it comes to explaining current IDW Sonic who in all honesty does try very hard to be empathetic. He quips a bit but like asshole, arrogant, and conceited are moreso Archie traits

Technically speaking Sonic is a Japanese franchise, but the majority of the marketing, fans, and even the headquarter of the brand are all in the US.
Hence why Chaotix Casefiles, TailsTube, and the IDW comic are all American, English-language productions.

@infadier Honestly, I think the problem with looping is part of a bigger one that is: The killer not being punished for hard targeting someone. I feel as though rarely any Aysm I've played addresses that issue, and so looping is one of the only ways to combat that, which is lame as well
