what’s crazy about The Mandalorian and Grogu is there are no actual actors on screen for the majority of the movie. just puppets, CGI creatures, and a stunt double in a suit. I can’t think of any other movie that has pretty much no actual acting happening.

The collector leviathan will complete any building in the standard elements tab without using any resources when it's nearby. Sadly things in other tabs, like power sources and metal farms, simply disappear.

@JJellyGames @keekenox @kendawyn @Nonfon420 Well either theyre asking for that or they havent even played the game because you can stun most creatures, and theres even 2 biomods to help + a stealth one. Leviathans are harder (they should be) but if youre in a tadpole you can add mods so you dont take damage or just HIDE

@BeesFear @Spynore Actually, thinking about it, i dont think you even NEED to stop the leak technically to beat the game, its given as an option and most people just take that responsibility. Just because environmentalism is the obvious answer doesnt mean it isnt an important part of the game

@BeesFear @Spynore 2 mentions it a LOT, 1 doesnt directly because there are very few conversations. The only reason riley gets the cure is because he works with the planet, and gains the trust of the sea emperor, and hatches her eggs. You also stop the radiation to save the environment

"The first subnautica lets you stab leviathans with a knife" which is both incredibly tedious and boring if you actually attempt this in game and makes the game world much less interesting to explore. Subnautica's appeal is about blending into the ecosystem, not butchering it.

@barettorein @boneshark4546b You just have to wait for it to be not super close to where you start and then use the cover at the bottom to hide. And idk if this one actually works or if ive just been lucky so far, but going at night seems to make it a lot easier to just swim straight through

@barettorein @boneshark4546b Theyve already mentioned that there are plans to add more ways to defend/distract/mitigate predator interference but i doubt that will impact leviathan encounters. They want those to stay tense. I cant imagine a reason i would want to get close to the collector outside of a scan

You dont kill the fish when you catch them so you can put them in aquariums or cook them later, that doesnt mean you cook them alive in universe
