Traffic Alert 🚨 APD is currently working a major accident involving two vehicles at Cooper St. and Eden Rd. Northbound Cooper at Eden is shut down while officers investigate and crews work to clear the scene. Please avoid the area and seek alternate routes if possible.

Roads are now open at Cooper and Bardin.

TRAFFIC ALERT Power lines are down at Cooper St. and Bardin Rd. after an 18-wheeler pulled the lines down. Officers currently have the following roads closed: • Northbound Cooper St. • Southbound Cooper St. • Eastbound Bardin Rd. at Cooper

UPDATE: APD investigated a potential threat to a business. After thorough invesgation, it was determined to not be credible. The buisness is now reopen. Thank you for your patience.

Today, we honor the life and service of Officer Craig Story, who was killed in the line of duty on Jan 13, 2010. This morning, APD employees joined members of his family at his memorial marker along Cooper St to pay tribute to him. We will never forget you, Officer Story 💙

Detectives continue to follow up on tips from the public and consult with crime labs to see if any new advancements in forensic technology might help us identify her killer. Anyone with info is urged to call us at (817) 459-5935. Our hearts are with Amber's family today ❤️

Today marks 30 years since Amber Hagerman was abducted while riding her bike near E. Abram St & Browning Dr. Tragically, four days later, her body was found in a creek not far from that area. Her case remains unsolved -- and we are committed to delivering justice to her family.
