Much better views of Pallas's Cat than the video suggests. Very windy up on the plateau. Soon after this we had to rush Dot to hospital due to altitude sickness. Much better now. Home Soon 🤞

It was mission impossible today at a very foggy Abberton Reservoir with @sh4rpy , hardly surprising we didn't see any of the star attractions currently residing there But I managed to add Spoonbill and Little Owl to the year list, so not a total waste of time

We lost a birding legend today, my uncle Gary (Messenbird) passed away after several health issues this morning, a Beddington and Surrey legend and a big influence on my birding life, something I will be forever grateful for ! He will be missed @SurreyBirdNews @LeeEvansBirding
