@sethsfilmreview I was already skeptical on the movie and had hopes this trailer would reignite interest for me, and it just like, didn’t. I can’t really explain why the trailer itself left me feeling nothing, especially as I have been excited for all the recent MCU projects, but alas

genuinely really interested to hear some thoughts from actual mcu fans. obviously nothing here really interests me, but keen to gauge excitement levels

Just got out of a preview screening of The Odyssey Some takeaways: 1) This is a masterpiece of cinema 2) if you don’t see it because of casting rumors, you’re a certified idiot 3) There are certain categories of Oscars that this movie WILL win (not gonna give any spoilers here) 4) The casting for Achilles, which received so much attention when the trailer came out, will surprise everyone* Timeless story and THE film of 2026
