@ImtiazMadmood I find it hard to believe professors of old would be so ready and accommodating of this process, if at all this is how it happened. The checking is extremely meticulous, so the slightest use of AI (even if justifiable) would make the paper null, mental fortitude aside.

A Stanford student got reported for academic misconduct last semester. His research paper was so good his professor assumed he bought it. The academic integrity hearing lasted 3 hours. Here's what happened in that room. The panel asked him to explain his methodology from scratch.
