I'll say this is also why when you scream at US ARMYs for not moving on Apple Music it's annoying & frustrating. You're mad at US 'local' charts for having "more weight" but in the same breath will try to tell us our charts aren't hard & if we just did what 'xyz' country does (which we def know how to stream on AM) then we should be charting higher. Simple fact of the matter is that math also doesn't work. As the fb below pointed out, Apple Music has ~40M subscribers in US (~37% of AMs global user base). Spotify has ~55M paid subscribers in US. Y'all are expecting US ARMYs to beat out that # easily by just following 'xyz' country's playlist methods? Make that make sense.... Back to Apple. Apple is 100% paid subscription (making new trials isn't easy). The boost you see for songs @ start of comeback is regular AM users + people on trial for ~3 months & any promos the artist may do. After that, if ARMYs don't sub, @USARMYonAppleM doesn't have $ for plan subs, or other US ARMYs don't have family spots to add others to then those that trialed can't use AM until they sub or make trial w/ new Apple ID (which Apple doesn't make easy to create over & over.) — 1/2
