Eric Kripke on Homelander choosing not to kill Soldier Boy:
“when Homelander sees him in that state, he doesn’t try to punish or kill him—he just gives him space. It’s a strangely tender attitude, almost like that of a ‘good son.’ And I think that shakes Soldier Boy, because he thinks: ‘he had every reason to finish me off, but he didn’t.’ That puts the character on a journey of reflection: maybe there’s more to this kid than I thought. As disturbing as he is, maybe he really is my son… and that complicates everything.”

@Adam50431237700 @gallifreyfilmz Your gonna be disappointed then because he’s not killing him
English

@ODYSSES199861 @acklesism We don’t know that it’s just a rumor with no support

@mcgillmd921 Nero was great, yall just fall victim to the senate’s propaganda
English

@Christi32135599 @jendeea There’s no bond between those two, and the show is already hinting at a real father son relationship between Homelander and soldier boy.

something I never expected is coming... homelander calls soldier boy a "disappointment" #theBoys

@Bubatunda29 @mcgillmd921 There’s debate that he actually had that. More contemporary busts of him don’t have any facial hair on them
English

@mcgillmd921 We're all just gonna forget Nero's glorious neck beard. It takes alot confidence to wear that.
English

@mcgillmd921 This is false propaganda from the senate. Nero was not evil, he was actually a very good emperor.
