In my django docker project I got an error like this
Error: django.db.utils.OperationalError: connection to server at "db" (172.18.0.2), port 5432 failed: fe_sendauth: no password supplied
At first I thought that it was not set in the environment variables in the .env file but it was set thereI saw then in there
so I opend the django shell inside the terminal
and typed this command
from django.conf import settings
import os
print("ENV:", repr(os.getenv("DB_PASSWORD")))
print("SETTINGS:", repr(settings.DATABASES["default"]["PASSWORD"]))
The first printed the password in .env file while second printed none which suggested that settings.DATABASES had been overridden after startup
