@_TraderLarry Do you trade futures with Rithmic data, if so, do you use any hardware for latency or like what do you do for always maintaining the connection and the making of the fills having data all the time, and like what technical architecture you haveto maintain consistency with fills?

Just in case anyone was wondering, there are more ways to trade successfully than a low win rate, high r:r. I am at 98.2% win rate this year, and 'I am not miserable'. One of the biggest things I think I have learned while trading is to keep an open mind to the possibilities. If you've ever read one of the Market Wizard books, you'll know what I mean. Just because something doesn't work for one person, doesn't mean it won't work for another person.

@Cals139 Thank you. I really learn something about this. Specifically for automated bots. Many bugs can just be avoided by doing R:R 1:1 or 1:2. If you have a strat with good entries, this is actually perfect as an example of how you can exploit that, and that's what I did now.

Not sure if sharing on here is the best idea as people just clap you for saying it’s fake but I have been backtesting this model I have been testing for some time now and done a few years worth of tests. It is not ORB, not IB, not ICT/SMC , it mechanically tells me what direction to trade in and I use a mixture of Ema / Vwap / candle stick structure to enter and each day I enter at approx 9.45-10-15am every day Will keep testing rigorously, as I don’t want to put anything out there that can lose anyone money but once I have enough data I will be happy to share

I met a trader in Dubai who was doing $80k/month in prop firm payouts. He showed me his stats. 71% win rate. Average RR: 0.8R to 1.2R. I asked him why such low risk-reward. 'Bro, I tried the 1:3RR+ thing for 2 years. Blew 40+ accounts. My win rate was 25%. I'd have 8-10 losing trades in a row and couldn't handle it mentally.' 'Then I switched to taking quick profits. 1:1 mostly. Sometimes less if price shows weakness.' 'My win rate jumped to 70%+.' He was running $2.8M in combined funding across 8 accounts. Some months he'd make 1%. Some months 5%. But he was consistent. And the psychology was easier. Winning 7 out of 10 trades feels completely different than winning 3 out of 10. Even if the math says they're equal. Your brain doesn't care about math during a 12-trade losing streak. He told me: 'I don't need to be right about where price is going long-term. I just need to be right about the next 10-15 pips. That's it.' Most traders are chasing these huge runners because someone on YouTube told them that's what 'real traders' do. Meanwhile this guy is taking home $80k/month with 0.8-1.2R trades. You don't need massive risk-reward to make serious money. You need capital + consistency + a win rate you can actually maintain. Low RR with high win rate will always beat high RR with low win rate when it comes to prop firm payouts.

@vedictrades Tell them to provide API REST FOR QUANTS THEN. They keep talking about a 'pro workflow', providing rithmic data and all of that including crypto but can't make a bridge into full automation. That tells you a lot from these prop firms.

Evaluation math most people skip: Lucid Flex 50K — $65 with code VEDIC. Pass it → funded. Hit $2,000 profit + 5 green days → withdraw 50%. You just turned $65 into $1,000. That's a 15x return on your eval cost. And you still have the account running. This is why I say treat evals like a business, not a lottery ticket.

Another max payout with @TradingLucid. Crazy to think I was almost ready to quit trading in February—after losing almost everything and being down to my last $80. From 23 Feb 2026 to 25 March 2026, I’ve done $8.3k in payouts. ( No copy trading) Grateful for my parents who believed in me and gave me one more shot when I needed it the most. To everyone still hustling—keep going, with full honesty. Your time will come. I’m still far from where I want to be. This is just the beginning.
