I think that 2nd half was up there with the 2nd half of the Luton final. It was so poor. Couldnt move the ball and just poor in all areas. Given its City ill box it in the back of my mind. But it was that bad imo due to their domination

Feel free to name every story you know in HCTP season mode and I'll reply letting you know if I have that one or not. I'm almost sure I've got everything from the main storylines side of things. Not backstage stuff.

I thought I was 100% done with Smackdown Here Comes The Pain season mode back in December but I randomly remembered being thrown off the stage in season back when I was a kid. Turns out it was a real thing, and it's the last story in the game that I needed. (I think?)

Smackdown Here Comes The Pain had a very rare storyline with Ric Flair in season mode. You can only get it after the first season has been completed and it's not a guarantee you will get it. Completely random. It's very likely the rarest storyline to get in the entire game.

Just some (sensible) observations: - the overall level of the EPL is way higher than any other league. See where English teams are in the CL standings. There are 4 in the top 8. Spurs are 14th in the PL btw - that translates into every game being a battle n on a given day anything can happen. Bournemouth beating Pool, Forest holding Arsenal away, for eg - most goals Arsenal have conceded this season have been worldies like the 2 vs Utd, a silly def mistake or a stroke of luck. (Ball hitting the upright n landing at an attackers feet). Can’t recall too many (this season) where an attacking team has carved thru the defence - Martin…?!? Leads the press better than anyone n has energy levels second only to Rice. Is the lynchpin OOP. Is the unanimous choice of the players to be skipper as I understand. I don’t get the unfair flak he gets. Critically, Odegaard should look for more fwd passes instead of recycling sideways n back n more long range shots himself imo. - for the record his quick pass into Timber created the first goal last night. And yes, it looks like a Timber goal and not an own goal via Martinez - close to 800 days without conceding 3 goals n yonks since 2 long range bombs were scored. Such stats get broken someday. Pity it happened against my fav old enemy. - on assorted football groups I’d picked Utd to be in the top 4 this season. Assuming that wt a powerful front line they’ll score more than they’d concede. And concede they will. I still stand by that prediction. - the Arsenal are stung. I expect the players n management to seriously refocus n come back with a vengeance. - my big worry is back up for Rice/ Zubi. Hoping that there’s reinforcements brought in since Norgaard (looks like) isn’t rated enough to get more mins
