You are free to disagree with me, but after seeing Arsenal fans celebrating the rumors linking Arsenal with Bruno Guimarães, let me remind you of something. Bruno, the captain of Newcastle, scored 9 goals in 29 appearances and also provided 5 assists. But to me, Martín Zubimendi is even better. He is better on the ball, and I believe he will prove it at Arsenal. Remember, Zubimendi played big role a team that won Premier League and reached the Champions League finals against PSG, while Bruno played for a Newcastle side that was almost struggling with relegation. So, how can you start comparing Zubimendi with Bruno Guimarães? For those saying Bruno will save Arsenal from playing too many back passes, just watch the way Zubimendi plays. To me, Zubimendi is even better than Bruno Guimarães.

Maybe I’m missing something about this Gyökeres situation.
If Arsenal were replacing Gyökeres with Mbappé, Vini Jr or Kvaratskhelia, I’d understand the argument.
But Julián Álvarez?
We all watched him in the Premier League. Very good player, but the way some fans talk about him you’d think he’s a Ballon d’Or winner.
Moving on from a proven goalscorer for him makes no sense to me.

In my opinion, €50m-€60m and Gyökeres for Julián Álvarez would be an outstanding deal. However, it’s clear the player’s preference is set on going to Barcelona. As much as Arsenal and Atletico could want that deal, it’s so difficult. Maybe the only chance would be for Atletico to deny him the move to Barcelona until the last week of the transfer window and then make the player choose whether to stay or join Arsenal.
