@02_arsenal64949 @arsenalbabe_ Bro he is not world class…he hides in games
English

@arsenalbabe_ I think Zubi is a world class CDM. He just needs to do what he used to do at Sociedad and that’s sitting at the base of the midfield to control tempo, resist press and dictate play. He has the ability. But Arteta is making him rin around the pitch which he has no busines with.
English

Most of us agree that a left winger and a striker to replace Gabriel Jesus must happen in the summer, but the way it is now, a dominant DM is one of our biggest need.
Zubimendi can’t control things at this level, sadly.
General Thomas Teye Partey for all the sticks he gets, would play through that 4 man midfield press Pep Guardiola constructed yesterday.
Tiny margins!

English

@Arsenalinho_ @ArsenalAnoop You're the joker here. You think Kepa started playing football in 2026. Go and look at his statistics as a BPGK, they call him* the circulator" the "Buildup Specialist". Go back and watch Kepa under Maurizio Sarri (2018/19).
English

@ArsenalZNE Raya will confidently head this ball to dribble goku and clear it out
English

First, Arteta not bold enough to make decisions and want to play. He should have gone with Raya and Calafiori, knowing he has no creativity in the midfield, he sacrificed control so they can suffer. His first mistake.
His second mistake seeing how largely ineffective Harvetz was, he should have trusted Dowman again and let him breathe life into their attack.
After Hincapie yellow card, city constantly created 2vs1 against him knowing he’s on card, Arteta should have reacted earlier by bringing on Calafiori, yet he allowed Hincapie to suffer and it costed them 2 goals from that position.
The lack of technical players in Arsenal team was also made obvious, he should have made up for that by pushing the defenders higher and let them use a rest defence and changing the formation to a 4-2-4 so Trossard and Saka can stretch width, Instead, he had Saka defending more than he was attacking.
You can continue to point out to a lot of mistakes, but this was just one of the days Arteta didn’t get any Coaching decision right.

Now that the final has come and gone, what exactly did Arsenal do wrong in that game?
English

🚨Thierry Henry on Pep Guardiola’s tactics vs Arsenal in the Carabao Cup Final:
Henry🗣️ “Arsenal weren’t just poor with the ball, they were toothless & Pep saw it immediately. He didn’t even bother pressing the centre-backs. He just shut the doors into midfield… and suddenly, they’re lost.”
“That’s the difference. Pep doesn’t chase the game, he controls it. Pep is a genius. You don’t outthink the master… and Mikel Arteta will always be his student.”

English

@kryptor776 @AFC_Adi06 So what are you trying to say…we should drop our best defender because we lost our 4th game of the season… because our coach decided to be emotional and loyal to his Spanish compatriot than to the fans.
English

@Arsenalinho_ @AFC_Adi06 I agree he’s not but there was no pressure in multiple scenarios just like this one and he booted it long rice can receive the ball here there’s more than enough space

English

@OfficialAdamWP @gunnerani1992 @AFC_Adi06 Your so-called rice can not dominate or receive the ball under pressure and you blame Gabriel
English

Gabriel’s regular horrendous mistakes fly under the radar of most fans. Probably because of his goals record and the way he acts like some kind of warrior each time he makes a simple block or shepherds the ball out for a goal kick. A fair and totally neutral observer would say he is this team’s weak link. But most fans aren’t ready for that conversation.
English

@kryptor776 @AFC_Adi06 Rice can not receive the ball under pressure he is not partey
English

@AFC_Adi06 When Gabriel hooting it up at 51s in the clip that’s when I knew we weren’t winning the game he had rice there and yet didn’t even think of it as an option whilst Arteta takes a lot of the blame too the players shit themselves shocking from everyone involved
English

@Mac_Gooner @Tripple____M Stfu…every time you always bring this dump excuse…is the psg game the only game he played for us
English

@its_phayth @adamkeys_ It’s tough that we’re going on an international break; I'll have to deal with the loss for two weeks. That’s painful. 😓
English

@adamkeys_ if anyone at all should know the meaning of “there’s no room for charity at this level” it should be Mikel. This is utter woke nonsense. My next two weeks are ruined now 😭
English

@RickyMcLarnon @ArsenalBuzzCom I guess you don’t know that Raya has one of the best spring jump in Europe
English

@ArsenalBuzzCom Raya wouldn’t have been able to reach the cross that Kepa fumbled
English

🗣️| Ian Wright on Mikel Arteta starting Kepa: “The gamble didn't pay off. It was the fashion of the mistake [from Kepa] that makes you think 'that's a No 2'. It's something you wouldn't see a No 1 goalkeeper make and it's unfortunate because it's the turning point. If we don't concede that goal and we get the subs on, we might get into the game a bit.” [Sky] #afc

English

@Orims1997 @Mo_Arsenal9 Like I was surprise when every Arsenal fan was saying Kepa should start because he brought us here…shey na emotional charity organization we dey do ni Abi we want win cup
English

@Mo_Arsenal9 Not until today we know say no be small job raya dey do for us….. those 2 goals wouldn’t have get to the back of the net if nah raya dey that goal post I’m so confident of that sha
English

@playwriter_guy @MrDtAFC Tactics will be Arteta picking Raya…cos you are not playing burnley…you are playing mancity
English

@MrDtAFC Kepa had to play, emotions had nothing to do with it. Reacting with emotions would be Arteta picking Raya. Kepa worked hard to get us to the final, this was his opportunity to make history, sadly it was arguably his worst performance so far.
English

Arteta owes Kepa nothing, but the fans everything. Unfair is what we had to witness today. I hope all of you who wanted him to start are happy!

@AgberoFcBAT @CFCMods No loosing a trophy is even the biggest blow of it all
English

Kepa Arrizabalaga started every single round of this Carabao Cup campaign, keeping clean sheets against Brighton and Crystal Palace to get us to Wembley. Dropping him for the final would have been a massive blow to squad morale. Arteta chose integrity over panic, a move even Paul Merson and other legends backed before kickoff.
English

@scrapytweets This is where Odegaard comes in….this is the reason why he always drops back to receive the ball after Partey left the team
English

@AgberoFcBAT @PoojaMedia Okay now that you didn’t slap his face…what happened….you lost a trophy that you haven’t won in 33 years….do you want to serve the club or serve a single player
English

@PoojaMedia Kepa Arrizabalaga started every single round of this competition. Dropping him for the final would have been a massive slap in the face to a professional who hadn't conceded a single goal in the tournament until today
English

@AgberoFcBAT @PoojaMedia Goal way ganarcho score am for semifinals na wetin…una go they yarn dust
