Cette glycine a probablement au moins 100 ans si ce n’est plus et quelle merveille quand elle se conjugue avec l’architecture basque comme ici à Ciboure 🪻🌸

Standing over 15 feet (4.6 meters) tall, this ornate gas lamp was a masterpiece of Victorian industrial art created by David Watson Stevenson for Glasgow's Saracen Foundry. Known as the "Big Lamp," it featured four globes and intricate cast-iron detailing topped with a decorative crown. Briefly installed at Charing Cross in 1888, this landmark was later removed and sold, leaving this photograph as one of the few surviving records of Glasgow's lost street architecture.

Commissioned around 1930 by Madame Philippe Bertholet for her home at 13 boulevard des Invalides, this Art Deco bed by Jean Dunand in black lacquer features a delicate motif of water lilies and golden fish, reflecting the artist’s exquisite craftsmanship and poetic refinement.

An early 20th-century épergne centrepiece, where Viennese cold-painted bronze cockatiels perch on their seesaw perches, forever suspended in quiet play beneath a trumpet vase of crackled pink art glass, its ruffled rim blooming like a frozen flame. Artist unknown.

18th century French pocket sundial, a Butterfield dial compass for navigation and timekeeping. Compact brass tool with string gnomon that casts shadows for precise readings anywhere sunny. Maritime Museum treasure from the age of sail.
