@Rus_Khairullin I have lived in #Dubai and #Singapore. similar stories. S’pore focused on efficiency and outclass Dubai in all areas (except trying to build biggest of everything). It’s more efficient, greener, competitive, safer, smarter and close to many touristy destinations. More liveable.

Dubai didn’t have oil like Saudi Arabia. Didn’t have history like Egypt. Didn’t have size like Turkey. In 1990 it was a fishing village with a port. Today it’s the most visited city on Earth. Here’s what most people get wrong about why: everyone says it’s the money. It’s not the money. Saudi Arabia has more money. Kuwait has more money per capital. Neither built what Dubai built. The real answer is simpler and more uncomfortable for most people to accept. ONE man made a decision. And it happened. Sheikh Mohammed said: we’re building the tallest tower. The biggest airport. The most connected port. The financial hub of the region. And then they just… did it. In democracies, a project like the Dubai Metro takes 15 years of approvals before the first shovel hits the ground. Dubai built 75km of driverless metro in 4 years. That’s pure execution speed. And execution speed is the most underrated competitive advantage in the world. I moved here not for the tax. Either not for the weather. For the energy of a place that still believes big things are possible and then PROVES it every decade. Most cities are managed. Dubai is built. 🇦🇪​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ ❤️

Update on Modi being heavily compromised & therefore effete. This revealing information came to me from someone who has great deal of inside information about PM. Basic facts can be checked by anyone who knows how to do Google search. The day Modi ji took charge as PM, Dr Manmohan Singh's Cabinet Secretary from 2011 onwards, Sh Ajit Kumar Seth came to meet Mahamanav with a big fat file and said, "Dr Saheb has suggested that you look at this file carefully". Mahamanav took the file and went pale as he flipped through the pages because the file contained a lot of dirt on him. Modi looked shaken and asked Seth, "How did this reach you?' Seth answered calmly, "As Cabinet Secretary in the PMO, all important files come to me." Modi ji meekly returned the file and got the hint good and proper. Ajit Kumar Seth was given an extension and appointed as Modi ji' own Cabinet Secretary ! This means Dr Manmohan Singh and Sonia ji had access to all doings and decisions in the PMO. Seth was given extensions by Modi ji in 2014 and served until June 2015. Have you ever heard of any PM anywhere in the world, appointing the most trusted senior officer of his sworn enemy as the head of his own PMO? After retiring, Seth was given yet another reward and appointed as Chairman of the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB). This may well explain why, despite all the sound and fury, 56 inchiya Mahamanav did not dare take any action against Sonia ji, Robert Vadra, Chidambaram and the others, whom he accused of having foreign accounts abroad and much else! It is not just Sonia ji who has access to the dark deeds of Mahamanav but a lot many more people, both within India and abroad. That is why Modi ji is one of the most INSECURE politician of India and therefore, indulges in vulgar boasts and bluster! There is no dearth of corrupt politicians in India and the world over. But none have been as desperate to project themselves as saintly figures, as is India's One & Only 56 inchiya. Hence the constant hysteria in the voice when addressing janata and pretence of being a selfless Mahatma! For the record, the first time Modi ji boasted of "56 inch ki chhati" during his 2014 election campaign, I personally told him, "Don't do this Narendra bhai. It sounds vulgar. His response was, "Aam janata loves it, Madhu ji. only intellectuals like you want sophisticated speeches". Modi ji ke hired scumbags, now find out from your Hriday Samrat, why he appointed Dr Manmohan Singh's Cabinet Secretary as his own top most officer in the PMO? The more you provoke me with your lies and obscene charges, the more dirt will come out from all directions exposing your Hriday Samrat!

@tishasaroyan Then you haven’t been to North Indian household. Paneer is not really a staple food. You will fine everyday a different vegetable curry without paneer - though daal is one constant but different type of daals. (You see protein is imp)

I genuinely think north indian vegetarians have a bimari. Literally every recipe I see from them on Instagram has freakin paneer in it. And this is not just because I absolutely detest paneer (so should you, it's an abomination!) but also because the impulse to put it in every dish is bound to be a mental illness

@_sayema @NMenonRao common people were never civil in discourses. In preX era only elite used to discuss and debate and that gave an impression that our society is civil. Discussions at local level were always very crass. Now this is coming our on platforms like X and TV debates.

@KaartikGor Where would you go? India probably wil be too dirty and unliveable for you. Western countries won’t give you right to live and work. Indians are stuck in Dubai while westerners are flying back in hoards. Middle East will be volatile at least for few years.

How could I even think about leaving the UAE? It’s so beautiful, and after witnessing the incredible mindset of UAE's leadership, there’s absolutely no way I’d consider moving from Dubai. Not a chance 🇦🇪
