3rd grade completed their Van Gogh inspired wax resist paintings! We discussed being inspired by artists vs copying, how to blend using oil pastels, and we reviewed our painting procedures. They did such a great job! 🎨

5th grade legends learned how to make a pinch pot, added details using scoring and slipping techniques, created forms using clay, and we finished off this project with a ‘See Think Wonder’ critique. I love how each pinch pot is so unique!!✨ #LegendsofTomorrow #ProsperProud

What more can you ask for? My team is so amazing! When the sky opened up, we paused to make sure everyone was safe, jumped into action when the weather slowed and still completed carpool by 3:30pm🥰

Kinder and first are exploring, creating, and learning how to use a variety of materials around the art studio while learning about our routines and expectations. I love starting the year with these stations because every student’s artwork is unique. #LegendsofTomorrow

4th grade explored painting with different materials, added details while listening to classical music, and then made movement sculptures! One student even brought me a sculpture they made at home. 🥰 #LegendsofTomorrow #prosperPROUD
