When we were pastors, sometimes people would try to tattle to my husband on me for something they didn’t like. He would bring them to speak to me personally, and explain their complaint in front of them just so he could watch me make them squirm.

Therapists and Social Workers, do y’all ever get tired of talking? Like you’ve talked so much that it feels physically and mentally taxing to talk and you don’t want to say peep out of your mouth for at least 3 days at a time?

@ryancharaba It doesn't feel like a choice to be an atheist either, more like a conclusion after pursuing the truth, if that makes sense? The choice is opening up to new information for me, belief is the conclusion. And for me my belief continue to shift as I stay open to new information.

@ryancharaba I don't think I could choose to believe again. I could only choose to pretend to believe again. I think the choice is mainly in what information you pursue and how persistent you are in it. It can be extremely uncomfortable to learn or unlearn things when you grew up limited.

One of my favorite dress shops- a modest old fashioned linen company- featured a man modeling their dresses. They’re down 1,000 followers and the comments are a dumpster fire for them. I truly do not understand what they expected. Who do they think their audience is?

@freedomrideblog I would loose my therapy license and therefore my job. But I may not be able to continue to afford staying a Therapist anyway once payments start up again. I don't know what I am going to do yet.
