This should not be taken lightly. I sincerely hope it is not true. This is not something we should make fun of. It involves serious allegations against the President of this nation, a 100% Muslim country. In this video, a person is making a claim that she engaged in zina with the President in his official cabin at the President’s Office. This matter should be thoroughly investigated, and if the claims are proven false, those responsible for making or spreading them should be punished. We have heard many accusations both false and true about presidents in this country in the past. However, this allegation is far more serious than any before.

Yesterday we were advised to stay indoors because of extreme heat, yet at the same time we are expected to consume drinking water transported under that very heat without question. Studies show that the average person already ingests tens of thousands of microplastic particles each year, and those who rely on bottled water consume significantly more. What makes this even more concerning is that heat and direct sunlight can accelerate the release of microplastics and chemicals from plastic bottles into the water. Now imagine pallets of bottled water being transported across Malé in open lorries, fully exposed to the sun, with no shade or protection. By the time it reaches its destination, the bottles have been heated for hours, especially through congested, narrow roads. This raises a serious question about safety and responsibility if we are warned about heat exposure for our own health, why are basic essentials like drinking water not given the same level of protection? Wouldn’t it be more responsible to use closed cargo trucks to minimize heat exposure and ensure safer consumption for the public? @MWSC_Official

The Human Rights Commission of Maldives (@hrcmv ) has now issued a statement saying they have self-initiated an investigationinto this case. When I first raised this issue, while the child was still alive, I tagged you and asked you to investigate. You DID NOT act. And now, after the child has died, you say you have “self-initiated” an investigation? For what exactly? I clearly wrote that day: 
“Where are the parliamentarians?
Where is the Human Rights Commission?
Where is the Ministry of Social and Family Development?
Where is the Child Protection Department of Police? All of these institutions must act. This must be investigated, and those responsible must be held accountable if we want to prevent this from happening again.” The cause of death here is not the lack of a pipe. But the delay and the systemic failures, had to be attended because tomorrow we may lose another life directly because of the delay. That is exactly why I called on you to act that day. You didn’t. You waited until today. Maldivians paid your commission 30 million last year. Parliament has approved another 30 million this year. In just the first two months of 2026, you have already spent 5.2 million of our money. The public does not spend this kind of money for you to serve the government or to act only after tragedy strikes. You are expected to take every complaint by every Maldivian seriously and act in time. If you had taken this seriously when I first raised it, you might not have been able to save the child, but you could have delivered justice while he was still alive. Now, you can’t.

🚨 This is a complete system failure. A mother needing a PEG tube to feed her child had to wait 8 months just to be told the order was never placed. If STO or NSPA had said this earlier, the parents could have found a way to obtain the tube themselves. Eight months is enough time to travel abroad, have a new one manufactured, and return. Instead, STO and NSPA took eight months to say they didn’t order it and now the parents have no way to feed their child. What is wrong with this country? Who will take responsibility? NSPA alone has a 3.4 billion budget, with 2 billion allocated for medical welfare and I don’t know how many political appointees are hired and paid by tax money to run these places and yet it takes eight months to respond to a life-and-death request involving a child. Where are the parliamentarians? Where is the Human Rights Commission? Where is the Min of Social and Family Development? Where is the Child Protection Dep of Police? Every one of these institutions must act. This must be investigated and whoever was in fault must be held accountable if we don’t want these to repeat.
