Actor, coach, voiceover artist and geographer! Dry sense of humour, a slow nomad (currently pitched in Liverpool) and generally love life.

@idt62 I can tell you’re angry. I’m furious. What do we do? They say black is white and white is black. I can’t bear it.

Is there a way of getting rid of this awful government without waiting four and a half years even though they’ve a huge majority?

@fhayesmccoy @Colmogorman It’s “an hotel” I find difficult, although it’s correct. I pride myself in getting these things right, yet every time I’m confronted with “who/whom” I want to run away.

@Colmogorman My father was one and I grew up saying "an historian". These days people look baffled when I use "an", though.

Wait, is it ‘an historian’ or ‘a historian’?

I’ve really admired Carole Cadwalladr and the work she has done uncovering some of the murkiest machinations in global, as well as UK politics. Here I’m sharing something she has shared. Have a good read if you’re up for it, and a very good day!

Clear, calm & rational analysis of how Britain got it so very badly wrong by @GabrielScally. Every day I wonder when people are going to finally get angry about the 50,000 people who didn’t need to die bmj.com/content/369/bm…

Best book I’ve bought in a long while is Ryan Holiday’s “The Daily Stoic”. I thought stoicism was akin to Puritanism- cold showers and grimness etc, but it’s really helpful. Quotes from Marcus Aurelius that are as relevant today as 2000 years ago. A stoic quote every day. Love it

Seen on my walk today: 3 middle aged women friends chatting at social distance, then they wind up and say goodbye and all 3 join together for a tight hug! No! Then spring apart and say last words and walk away. Epic failure-sad and hugely touching at the same time.
