@sondesix Doesn't really matter who started it. It's terrible. If you need the extra depth anyway, give us more battery and make it the depth for the full device. Hell, give us microSD and a 3.5mm jack, since the space will exist for it.

@sondesix Some folks might hate this comment: Other companies did come up with the design, but the company that started the "current trend", I'd say Apple. Google brought it before Apple, yes... but since Apple's, other companies jumped on and copied it pretty much.

@appltrack I know what Apple is going for: It wants to bring its own flair to an existing technology so as to differentiate itself from the competition. But it's so awkward-looking. It almost looks like a concept a comapny would have showed off back in like 2020.

@sondesix I just hate that Vivo implemented literally THE NEXT iteration after the iPhone Air. It's so sad...

I have to say that using this camera housing design for the S50 Pro mini/X300 FE is a bold move by vivo. It might've been inspired by the iPhone Air, but I honestly don't mind the overall look because they executed it very well.
