Brilliant, heartbreaking documentary. I cannot begin to comprehend the mindset of those who enjoy killing - not to eat or survive - but for a "trophy" to hang on the wall. Look at their smiles after a kill. Utterly vile.

Watched again the ‘Surviving 9/11’ documentary on iPlayer.
It’s the details - the journalists’ son and the building blocks, or the pilot sending postcards - that are so striking.
The contributors’ dignity astounds me even now.

One of the many films from the Grierson list that is well worth checking out. I see a lot of contemporary docs that are incredibly stylish, but feel quite cold. Or docs that are full of heart, but score less well on style. This one manages to strike a perfect balance.
