How to get customers with $0: 1. Set up F5Bot with your keywords. 2. Find discussions from Reddit. 3. Make 100% valuable comments and mention your brand name when necessary. 4. People will be curious and search for your tool on Google. That's how you can get a customer...

Apollo charges $100 for 4,000 LinkedIn enrichments Serper.(dev) charges $100 for 50,000-70,000 searches same job. 92-94% cheaper. 89% hit rate on executive profiles. everyone building outbound in 2026 is dramatically overpaying because they never questioned the defaults actual stack. pricing included. FINDING PEOPLE → Apollo — $79/mo. use it for the database and contact filters. do NOT use it for LinkedIn URL matching. that's where the credits disappear → Serper — use this for LinkedIn URL matching instead. $100 = 50-70K searches. Apollo as fallback for the 11% that don't match → theorg — completely free org charts with API. shows reporting lines, promotions, departures. LinkedIn shows none of this. almost nobody has it in their stack ENRICHING → Enrichly — $59/mo for 5,000 person enrichments. primary fallback when Apollo misses. → waterfall: Apollo → Enrichly → Anymail Finder → Findymail → manual. never one source. SIGNALS (mostly free) → Google News RSS — free. unlimited. real-time. go to Google News, search your query, add /rss to the URL. that's a live signal feed. replaced a $490/month monitoring tool → f5bot — free. email alerts when your keywords appear on Reddit. people write paragraphs about their problems on Reddit they'd never say to a salesperson → visualping — monitors any webpage for changes. hourly checks. set up 200 competitor pages and forget it RUNNING OUTREACH → HeyReach — $79/account/mo. cloud-based LinkedIn automation. dedicated IPs. 5-10% ban risk vs 23% for browser extensions. runs 24/7 without your laptop open → never send cold email from your main domain. one spam complaint tanks domain reputation entirely — website deliverability, brand, everything. deliveron: $49/mo, 100 Microsoft inboxes, warmup, rotation included full stack: under $500/month the gap isn't tools. it never was.

I would love to launch more businesses: 1. But I am stacking cash now and can’t hire financially. Maybe, a bit later. 2. I have enough work and feature requests for my current product. 3. In the past ~3 months, F5Bot reported launches (on Reddit) of at least 6 new competitors in my niche. How am I going to stay relevant if I drop my focus? I work on some tools related to my niche, though. Will see if I can monetize them.

3 advanced tools to add to your GTM motion: 1. devi [ddevi(.)com] AI social listening tool that monitors reddit, facebook groups, X, linkedin, telegram for people talking about problems you solve. you plug in keywords like “need marketing help” or “looking for agency.” it scans conversations and flags high-intent ones in a live feed. you’re finding people who are literally raising their hand right now. jump into the convo or pull their profile and hit them with outreach referencing their actual post. ~$49-99/mo 2. redreach [redreach(.)ai] reddit-specific lead discovery. finds relevant subreddits, surfaces high engagement threads, identifies users discussing pain points. you target subs like r/Entrepreneur, find posts like “our ads aren’t converting,” drop value in comments, build authority, move convos to DMs, close. ~$49-150/mo 3. scrapy [scrapy(.)org] open-source Python framework for building custom web crawlers. this is the “build your own Clay” approach. scrape reddit, forums, blogs, anywhere your ICP hangs out. collect posts and comments, layer AI on top to score intent, enrich profiles, feed into outbound. you own your data source. no platform limits. free - just pay for hosting/proxies (~$20-200/mo depending on scale)

right now someone on reddit is asking for exactly what you sell. you're not there. your competitor is. f5bot .com fixes this. set up keyword alerts. free. takes 5 mins. every time someone posts containing your keywords you get an email. but first you need to find the right subreddits and keywords. use freesubstats .com to find trending subs in your niche and track growth. once you know the language, set up f5bot alerts. if you're selling cold email infrastructure like deliveron .org, you'd track: "cold email" "email deliverability" "instantly alternative" "smartlead alternative" "email warmup" "cold email infrastructure" "inbox rotation" "instantly sucks" "smartlead sucks" "email sending limits" "cold email setup" alert hits your inbox. check the post. if relevant, show up with a helpful reply and mention what you built. nothing salesy. useful. the person posting "anyone know a good alternative to (competitor)" is asking to be sold to. they have budget. they have the problem. they're ready now. difference between you and everyone else is you showed up in under 20 minutes. they showed up 3 days later when the thread is dead. doubled my site traffic doing this lol... not to mention a ton of new users :)

I got a notification from F5Bot that the keyword “home inventory app” was mentioned. It turned out to be an announcement post for a new app in the same niche I’ve been building in for a while. My first reaction wasn’t panic or annoyance. It was actually the opposite. Competition is a good thing. It means: •The problem is real •People care enough to build solutions •You’re not alone trying to convince the world this category matters I replied wishing them good luck and shared some lessons from my own journey. This is a hard niche and not a huge market, but that’s exactly why having more builders helps. More apps mean more awareness, more validation, and more users discovering that “home inventory” is even a thing. I’d much rather build in a space with great competitors than in a space with none. No competition usually doesn’t mean you’re early. It usually means there’s no demand.

@sergeynazarovx These tools usually rely on social monitoring, which is relatively easy to achieve on Reddit. Finding leads on X or Linkedin is harder though. That's why we launched KWatch .io 2 years (helping people find leads on Reddit, X, Linkedin, FB,...) ago and it's been doing great so far

thank you for your kind comment! 😄 you can subtly post on some subreddits like r/SideProjects, r/SaaS. in fact, I would recommend using f5bot.com to keep track of the keywords that is relevant to your app. there will be subreddits posts that occasionally would be appropriate for you to insert your product. try to understand the issues that the OP is facing in their posts and offer genuine help to them. your product should be somewhat solving their pain point to be relevant in the subreddit.

After experimenting Reddit with a social media listening tool, I conclude it's not optimal for Copi's growth. Manual daily engagement is still required, AI replies are insufficient, and unknown user profiles limit potential returns. Considering alternatives #buildinpublic
