Today, the St. Thomas Public Library outreach van was here at lunch. AVSS students toured the van, learned about books in the collection and the teen advisory board, signed up for library cards and made buttons.

Students at AVSS got to attend the trade fair in London, learning about the various options and opportunities they have after graduation. @TVDSB

Every child matters!

Vikings celebrated Culture Week by learning about a few of the countries that our students come from - El Salvador, Nicaragua, Jamaica and Guyana

We had a beading workshop at AVSS where students got to work with an Indigenous cultural leader to learn beading. Students also got to make earrings and keychains.
