Finally set up a pause menu! Featuring funny music effects such as reverb, filters, and slowing down the music.

@emi_cpl omg you don't know how much this helps me out compared to hacking together my own custom camera solution that never works the way I want to.

The one thing that can reflect magic: cash!

To encourage players to actually fight monsters instead of running past them, they now explode with loot when you KO them.

I added a system to enemies to counterattack if you attack them enough times with normal attacks. Those of you familiar with Kingdom Hearts 2 might know this system as revenge value.

whee
Took me a while to implement a hit stagger system but I finally added it.

Honestly it's pretty fun to use this magic attack, even if it's just one button press.

@bramreth Just remember to be on top of setting UI element mouse modes on any scene you add as an autoload so you don't claw your hair off trying to figure out why mouse input isn't working...

@David_P_0827 @ThePrimeagen For devs specifically, most programming stuff either works out of the box on Linux or is one command line away from being installed, compared to Windows where sometimes you have to download and install exes to get things to compile.

@ThePrimeagen What are the real advantages? Am I missing something because I am using Windows?

Very rough WIP for the first boss of my game! I hooked her up to use player input for this video. (Technically you can play as her, but I doubt it would actually be fun.)

Playing around with item bounce physics. You can now play catch, get really good at juggling, or attack enemies by throwing junk at them!

I put a hitbox on discarded items

Adding more useless, but fun features to my game: throwable items.
I could see these having a gameplay impact in the future in environment/quest and even enemy interactions. (no monster taming, I am not doing that even if it sounds awesome)
