Our first vlog is LIVE! Behind the scenes of our life in Dubai, AI workshop edition

Crypto is so much bigger than Twitter Some reflections on what are the convos people are having and focusing on in closed rooms in Dubai What to look out for ? From out @arts_dao events earlier this month Obviously with token cancelled everyone at these events werent you regular tourists coming for an event, these were all focused builders in the region 1) AI One of our AI workshops filled up so fast we had to immediately add another session because people kept showing up. They were genuinely trying to learn, exchange workflows, people showed up with laptops and really into learning on WTH is this all about Shoutout to @eeelistar and @sanjaybuilds_ for hosting them 2) TCG At the same time, you’d walk into another room and find massive Pokémon activations packed with people. There were people with collections of Grand archive (never heard of that until before), people talking about Harry Potter books as collectibles We had kids that showed up for this, so clearly a vertical as we all know is pretty strong but also growing. 3) RWA and Tokenization This is a unique one, tokenizing full on business and even real estate, is something you dont see on CT as much to be honest However everyones obsessed IRL Institutions arent talking about ETFs or MicroStrategy type of businesses But there are people who are selling this ecosystems out not just to institutions but a very different form of retail... Who doesnt live on this app Some of the biggest events i went to was in this sector IRL is usually a good starting point before things become culture, and whilist alot of stuff has been vaporware in the past, honestly seeing some folks build on it was impressive 4) Crypto people wanting to just connect out of business As much as business is important our industry is so transactional at times too, jumping from events to events theres a real deep desire for people to just do stuff together on the life style front. If you move to a big city for Web3 or AI chances are 1000s of people have done the same, they all are in the same boat. And its why events like the pilates event we did in colloboration with @SuperteamAE and @babesnetxyz got filled super quick super fast There is so much happening honestly It’s happening in cafés, hotel lobbies, workshops, random dinners, Telegram groups, and side conversations after events. We had a 1000+ signups across the weekend was honestly surreal to witness. Not because of the number itself. But because it reinforced something we’ve believed at Arts DAO for a long time: I often talk about how much of crypto and building exists out of this app and events like these just amplify it so much more. The top 3 people i met during these days are actually people who dont even have twitter - says alot. GO MEET OR CONNECT WITH PEOPLE OUTSIDE THIS SPACE Dont let KOLs psyop you into beliving this is the start and end of our industry.

Because Humans want honesty Our desire to not live in realms of accelerated tech advancement especially when everything has been so infused with Ai Is rising And nots because we have issues with things not being real we love our tech.... Its just we dont want to "merge" with it This is why curated clubs are rising... Its why book clubs, music concerts are all becoming a thing, its why online streaming is blowing up We want honesty... And sure wired earphones are the hipster thing to do too, the AP swatch collab will be a statement piece too but its rooted in nostalgic concepts Because we desiree "the older simpler times" or rather find familiarity from even a psychological and hence physiological pov Human behaviour is fascinating

Today is the unofficial birthday of @RTFKT (and the official birthday of @Zaptio , by the way!). What I am seeing in my X timeline is absolutely beautiful and I want to thank the community, each and everyone of you, who have been present, not only today but since the beginning of it, incuding since Nike shutdown. I know many have questions about the future and the silence is hard to take, but don't forget, both CloneX and Animus are currently traveling to a new (and, from what I heard, beautiful) destination. Space journey is long and space doesn't have sound. But soon enough. Soon enough. None of you have been forgotten nor will ever be forgotten. The future is together and it awaits us. The future of community is not digital or physical alone. And i would argue the right balance is starting to become more clear now in our space than during 2021 mania If there is anyting i learnt building @arts_dao Most communities today live in extremes... Some exist only online endless scrolling, usernames, with no real-world memory attached to them ( We all know how the moment someones changes their PFP you have no idea who is that and why you are following them LOL) Others exist only physically beautiful spaces and great events, but no continuity once people leave the room. Yes you exchange TG, but if you did that with 20-30 people its just going to become another conversation to forget I feel they work in tandem, alot more magic happens when digital and IRL begin reinforcing each other. IRL creates trust, chemistry, atmosphere, and memory. However from an efficiency stand point digital keeps those relationships alive between moments. We all know this because alot of us are global we wait for events to get connected, but until then we are here. Behind screens.... Hoping to meet the right person because of algos But i feel its so insanely broken Been working on something to honestly fix this web3 layer Been studying alot of membership clubs and ecosystems outside our space, on their lens of community, their lens of value Will be announcing some stuff soooon...

Sometimes its not about loud parties and music... Its about honest conversations With good builders
