@JPT_Arts I really liked how effectively and efficiently you introduced Sofia, the dream was very clever, a way of driving the story forward as well as adding some mystery to it. Most of all I enjoyed the inversion of the beauty and beast dynamic they seem to have. Its very cute.
English

@Arty_Lizardman Glad to hear it! If youre open to elaborating Id love to hear more of your thoughts around it.
English

@JPT_Arts I am sold after this chapter.
Something feels very refreshing about this story, its main dynamic is something I can’t remember the last time I experienced if at all.
English

@Thatisdiffi I often wonder what causes someone to go full parasocial.
English

@Arty_Lizardman From my years of using Twitter, yes.
It comes from being a very entitled person.
And, if they're not angry, they'll express sadness instead.
English

Yet, I must admit, obviously not everyone gets followed. I've become selective about which artists I follow, because of slowly-evolving personal tastes.
And there's just so many artists out there.
Anyways, I still like to support other artists by liking/retweeting their stuff~

Sometimes I click on someone in my notifs that liked one of my tweets, just because I like the art in their pfp. And, if I'm lucky, I'll discover that they're the artist that made the art that's in their pfp. Then I browse their media tab, retweet their art, then follow them~

@Thatisdiffi Even if they hate you.
Might as well talk to them.
They either keep hating or you might just change their mind about you.
English

Just interact with them.
They're an oomfie for a reason.
Just do it.
roz !!🍓@r0z_st4rz
How it feels wanting to interact with oomfs but ur scared they lowkey hate you🥹🥹
English

@grame37 La neta.

I know most people are talking about wanting to have sex with butterfly.
But the actual cartoon itself was like watching a cozy early 2000s show where every episode was just a fun silly adventure instead of the author airing out his dirty laundry in public.
Cartoon History@Cartoonhistory2
The ‘Planetronika’ pilot just launched on youtube. Link in the comments. It is based on the 2000s attempt to replicate anime style animation similar to Teen Titans and Avatar the Last Airbender.
English

@Cheesymanfredo One that uses its themes as crutch rather than a springboard.
Something like Disney’s Wish, where the story and characters are being forced in positions that don’t make sense for the sake of promoting the authors intention of telling a story about righteous rebellion.
English

@Arty_Lizardman What’s a cartoon where the author is airing out dirty laundry?
English

@naniSohrei It was light on story and characterization. But it presented it’s world well enough that I am interested in seeing more of it. Hopefully this is just the first push of the snowball.
English

my only problem is it didn't really feel like anything (dont get me wrong, i liked it) but it just kinda felt like a bunch of random clips loosely thrown together that also flaunted butterflys assets
if the creator can improve their storytelling, it'll be a much better experience for me at least
(butterfly was hot asf tho)
English

@ScrungusAbungus Yeah a lot of recent animations felt like therapy sessions instead of stories.
English

@Arty_Lizardman the indie scene needs more slice of life / goofing off cartoons tbh, i'm glad to see stuff like this alongside the narrative stuff
English

@ArmoredNorman You are right. That is actually a very common situation therapists deal with.
English

@R_YayOFFICIAL @funnygamedev Yeah. I remember.
It’s ironic how cartoons where at their best when they where made for the young’uns.
English

@Arty_Lizardman @funnygamedev That's what most cartoons are, and what literally all cartoons were until a few years ago.
English

@KidFawcett I didn’t find it too funny, most of the gags fell flat for me, but it was charming enough that I am interested in seeing more of this world. It’s only 7 minutes so I think there is no harm, no foul in giving it a watch.
