Nuno is a fighter. He’s never hidden. But this looks a fight too far. Seven points is more than a gap. It must feel like a gulf. Nuno is a manager who cares and is clearly hurting but he looks bereft of ideas and hope. And who motivates the motivator?  Even if Nuno goes, so many problems remain. Poor recruitment. Agents’ influence. Too few top-level players. Too few players with strength of character. Started well but belief is brittle. Forest’s players fought harder for longer.  Some good things - academy brings hope for the future, Foundation brings hope in the community. But the club is a mess. It’s a badly run club and good people are leaving. Gaps in staff, gaps in the stands. The club should be West Ham United, not Divided. The distance between fans and the board is even bigger than the distance between fans and the pitch. They are stuck with the stadium, an athletics stadium. Fans were sold a dream which has turned into a nightmare. It’s soulless - the antithesis of Upton Park. At the very least the board could invest more in making the London Stadium more of a football ground. Also more investment in training ground required.  Protests will continue. Board members can either sell - which most fans seem to want - or acknowledge their many mistakes and actually listen to fans and act on their legitimate concerns, ticket prices, stadium flaws etc, and try and rebuild together. As with survival in the Premier League, it looks too late for that. It’s sad. A good family club torn apart - and much of the damage self-inflicted by an insular board. #WHUFC

That's #WHUFC done. Nuno has been an absolute disaster of an appointment but ultimately this is a result of years of mismanagement and a board who have sold the club's soul. And they are still chucking money away in this transfer window.

Honestly I’d go one further. Expand it to all 211 teams. You could do the group stages locally/regionally for logistical reasons. Best 32 teams from the group stage make it through to the ‘finals’. Then hold that in one country with a group stage/knockouts. Everybody wins 🙃

The life of a West Ham fan at the moment seems to be one of perpetual anger and frustration. A stadium they can’t stand, owners they despise, ongoing battles to keep ticket prices reasonable, lifelong supporters staying away from games and a manager who’s seemingly drowning.

Robert Green perfectly sums up the structural problems at West Ham. ⚒️ The issues start at the very top — with the board and owners — there’s never been a coherent plan in place. Without structure, there can be no progress.

Disappointing to see that Kudus has gone to Spurs but pls give ALL of the money to allow the Manager to buy some players! Anything other than that will see us in serious relegation trouble! I’ve said it before, nothing will ever change until there is new ownership at our Club ⚒

@Ry_Bass Bad take from someone who has very few of them. We’ve been considerably better with him in the team - the squad as a whole is weaker today than it was yesterday. You can’t make that make sense.

I know there’s some frustrations with the decision to send down Chandler Simpson, but think about how blessed the #Rays are to be in this position with the depth they have. When Richie Palacios, Josh Lowe and Jonny DeLuca went down early on this season, there were serious question marks about this outfield — and Simpson, Kameron Misner and Jake Mangum have shown just how much promise there is with the organizational depth and development. Trust that the Rays, and this front office, know what they’re doing. Simpson will be back at some point, and he’ll be more polished defensively and better equipped to stay long-term when he returns. Erik Neander, Kevin Cash and Rays brass have earned the right for you to trust their decision-making, and they’ve proven time and time again to make the right call at the right time.
