New DNA Analysis Suggests That Shroud Of Turin May Have Indian Origins ndtv.com/feature/new-dn…

I really want Pakistan to try mediating Iran-US war. Ishaq Dar, Foreign Minister of Pakistan is not telling his population these things : - It is not an Iran-US war, but Iran-Israel war. US is playing puppet here, so it doesn't have the authority to end the conflict. - If the mediation goes sideways (which will happen as per past patterns), the Pakistanis could enter into direct confrontation with their immediate neighbor that is Iran. "Say bye bye to the rest of petrol after that" - If the mediation failed, conflict escalated and Saudis joined the war. The Pakistanis are compelled with their defence pact to protect Saudis. Which will be absolute cinema moment as their home front is in complete shambles right now. - To make it even worse, if the Pakistanis started fighting Saudis. They will not only be fighting alongside Saudis but Israelis also ! "What a sight that would be, Pakistanis fighting for Israelis" Now who will tell Ishaq Dar that his failed marshal * Insulted the Shia cleric few days back. * Refused to release their own citizen who protested Shia's supreme leaders death and many of them got killed by Americans on their own land. * Shia are 20% of Pakistan's population. * Your invitation to four irrelevant foreign ministers to Islamabad just made sure, you walk into that trap comfortably. So as an Indian, I am rooting for Pakistan to facilitate the mediation.

This pro-BJP and anti-BJP gang war within RW is getting too toxic. Algorithm is pushing it for obvious reasons.

It is difficult to write about Indian Buddhism with any certainty even though its world-historical importance is not in doubt. Its decay in India from around the 13th century CE presents an evident difficulty, but subsequent developments were to make the task even more intractable. With the passage of time, its legacy of texts and philosophical ideas was ruthlessly effaced to the point where its chief custodians came to be located in Tibet or East Asia. Shashank Kela unpacks the philosophical ideas of Buddhism across two culture-spheres, the Indic and the Sinic, to see what they can tell us about its history in India : ow.ly/ArSj50YxVzo Cover art by Aishwarya Iyer
