Dear creatives, summer is coming. We can create or form a brand and tour festivals or carnivals to sell and show our crafts to the world. It’s better than we waiting for the entertainment industry to grow. #glennsamm

I hear there is an older Fort built in 1631 underneath the current Fort Amsterdam which was built in 1638... Interesting Ancient maps had referred to a Fort Kormantine, before in that area..

@AsafoFlags I’m not sure if there’s another animal to the far left, is it a chicken? any idea what it is and what the gun symbolises?

Frankaa of the day ~ Retu anaa ereyra? - Will you fly or will you run! This Asafo flag is of the three-headed dragon as a sign of fearsome power against rivals that wish to attack. It means to stay vigilant as your own kind can also be your enemy!

Even with its color, this river is one of the few fresh water sources that has remained untouched by the harmful practices of illegal mining, known as 'galamsey'. 🇬🇭

Children named after the Amissah river often grew up to be prosperous and wealthy, which is why there are many successful families among the Fantes with the name Amissah.

The Great River Ammisah runs through the Central Region of Ghana. In ancient times, it is believed that Fante women seeking to conceive would visit this riverbank to pray for a child. Once they were blessed with a baby, they would name the child after the river.
