Yesterday I took a day away from this platform, it ended up being an alright day. Unfortunately, I also got drunk for the first time in 1.5 years, I'm an alcoholic, and yesterday I broke sobriety. I'm choosing now to step away from twitter for an unknown length of time.

Pierre Poilievre just dropped the TRUTH about Canada We should be the RICHEST country on Earth. Largest freshwater supply Most land per capita 3rd largest oil reserves 3rd largest uranium deposits And yet… For the FIRST TIME in history… We can’t even produce enough ELECTRICITY to power our own grid. Let me get this straight… We’re sitting on GLOBAL WEALTH And living in a country in DECLINE? This didn’t happen by accident. They BLOCKED energy They KILLED projects They TAXED production into the ground

@ScottRCarpenter That's exactly what Trump did, he claimed to support the liberal party and Mark Carney during his campaigning for PM. Now Carnage is PM and destroying/gutting Canada. Now's the time for Trump to step in, before China gets a beachhead in NA.

If I was Trump and I wanted to get rid of the Crown in North America and take Canada’s resources and people without military intervention I’d do everything in my power to get the worst possible government elected North of the line then watch them do all the wrong things and pull the country apart thus giving the US the pretext it needs to scoop up the wreckage. Now that’s 4D chess.

🚨🚨🚨INTERNET CENSORSHIP INCOMING: WELL ISN’T THAT JUST WHAT I’VE BEEN SAYING THEY’LL DO?🚨🚨🚨 Life losers like @MarcMillerVM, who have the thinnest skin, are going to try and censor the internet full force now that they have a majority. HEY MARC, THERE ARE PLENTY OF WAYS AROUND ANY RULES YOU MAKE UP. Nothing will ever change the fact that you are a sub par peoplekind who only got a government job because you were in a bridal party, once. IF A FAILURE LIKE YOU, SETS HIS EYES ON A PERSON LIKE ME, IT’S GAME ON.

@xMarty50 @RMC19861987 @MarkJCarney I didn't vote for them and no one I know personally did either, well maybe my boomer parents but I never asked them who they voted for, didn't want the argument. Most Canadians didn't vote for them, they stole their dictatorship, I mean their unelected majority, sorry.

Why are we still electing them? There is a widespread view across Canada that the Liberal Party has been hiding the truth from Canadians. Many believe the mainstream media cheer for one side only, while denigrating ordinary Canadians by labeling them as extremists or monsters. The perceived arrogance of the Liberals strikes many as disgusting and deeply divisive. It is difficult to understand why Canadians continue to vote Liberal, especially with several opposition MPs crossing the floor to join them. All the signs point to challenging times ahead for Canadians. We continue to send hundreds of millions (and cumulatively billions) in foreign aid around the world, yet when looking inside Canada, struggling Canadians — facing housing shortages, poverty, food insecurity, and homelessness — clearly need greater priority and support at home. Some numbers: Canada has ~4 million people (10.2%) living in poverty (2023 data, with recent increases), ~1.5–2.4 million households in “core housing need,” and homelessness rising sharply (e.g., over 85,000 in Ontario alone in 2025, up significantly since 2021). Housing affordability has worsened dramatically, with experts estimating Canada needs 430,000–480,000 new homes per year to restore balance. Food insecurity affects ~7.5 million people. These are legitimate pressure points many Canadians cite when questioning aid priorities.

.@MarkJCarney on his 1st day in the HoC with an unelected majority gov’t. Lording it over the opposition. Admonishing them as students. Says wages are outpacing inflation & Canadians are getting ahead. Laughing about it. Vulgar. Isolated from reality. This is going to get worse. Oh, the Liberal arrogance…

@GG37374104 No the signs should ONLY be in English and French, and if someone can't read either language and dies for their stupidity, that's natural fucking selection at work, and we should let Natural Selection cook, we have stopped it for far too long.

I don't like to see someone lose their life, but the signage seems like ample warning to me. If something is closed, keep out. Since it's Brampton, perhaps the signage needs to be in multiple languages since we don't expect anyone to speak English or French.

The Liberals' newest MP told the media that her letters to the Minister of Housing and Infrastructure "[...]went really nowhere, until I crossed the floor." She said the Minister's staff contacted her the day after she crossed the floor wanting to discuss projects in her riding that needed funding. The Minister says he has no knowledge of this. If ministerial staff are only paying attention to letters from Liberal ridings, then this is the very definition of corruption. We need an investigation.

The economist Hayek has aged a lot better than Keynes, and that is one reason I support Pierre Poilievre over Mark Carney. Keynesian and technocratic economics always sound clever at the start. Spend more. Print more. Intervene more. Manage more. Guide behaviour from the top. Then the distortions show up later. Inflation. Asset bubbles. weak productivity. bloated government. housing shortages. rising costs. and a political class pretending none of it is their fault. Hayek understood something the expert class still refuses to learn. No group of planners is smart enough to run a modern economy from the top down. They do not have the knowledge, they do not face the consequences, and they never surrender power once they get it. Pierre Poilievre gets that. He talks about supply, incentives, production, energy, housing, tax relief, and letting people build. Mark Carney talks like the same elite class that helped oversee decline should now be trusted to manage it more elegantly. That is the divide. Pierre speaks the language of the real economy. Carney speaks the language of managerial prestige. Canada does not need more lectures from polished technocrats. It needs growth, affordability, and a government that stops making life harder for the people doing the actual work.

@ezralevant The liberals are the corrupt foreign dictatorship, they are funneling taxpayer money into their own bank accounts, we are being grifted and our hard earned money stolen from right under our noses. But what can we do to stop them? Riots?

Historian Bill Federer: "By 2030, there will be a majority Muslim population in Europe, and they’ll just flat out vote in Sharia law. People forget Egypt was completely Christian for 6 centuries. It's not anymore. All of North Africa was completely Christian for 6 centuries. It's not anymore. Constantinople was the largest Christian city in the world, and the largest Christian church in the world for hundreds of years was the Hagia Sophia. And it was turned into a mosque. They want to do the same thing with the Vatican." Pay attention to what he’s saying!

@PrairieVeteran Yes we are, and there's nothing you can do about it, your name isn't Brookfield or Supreme Leader Mark Carney. They will do whatever the fuck they want with your money and you will have no say. That is Canada's legacy now, the New World Order, you will own nothing and be happy.

@xMarty50 @RMC19861987 @MarkJCarney He doesn't care about the 'peasants', we are nothing but wage slaves to people like him, that's why he always appears pissed at QP time, he doesn't want or feel he needs to answer to the 'peasants' and gets angry when he has to.

@RMC19861987 @MarkJCarney It is just me? I found our Prime Minister's attitude toward Canadians to be very arrogant. His comments were highly offensive, as he appeared to be laughing at the struggles many Canadians face just to make it to the end of the month. This is disgusting, to say the least.

@JasminLaine_ They are angry because your idea of journalism doesn't align with current journalist teachings, which tell them to do and say whatever the supreme leader says and allows. You're not the CBC and for that we are so VERY thankful. Keep working towards TRUE journalism, please.

I see some people are having a hard time comprehending good faith conversation and the fundamental principals of democracy, which is through dialogue and information. So to clarify: I’m actively trying to get answers. If that is the truth, it’s in everyone’s best interest to know, so that we can hold our government accountable. An interviewer doesn’t “push ideas”, it is my job to ask questions. And that’s exactly what I’m doing in the most respectful way imaginable with the information shared throughout this conversation. If that is problematic to you, then that is not my burden to carry. Episode drops tomorrow at 6pm CT!
Sam Rizzo@truenorthchat

@alleria_eh She is actively pushing the idea that Canada doesn’t want to negotiate and that only hurts our relationship with the US. It’s one thing to oppose the Liberals but it’s another to undermine your own country to the country that is trying to destroy ours!
