@academicmargin @GutStrings @SameerudDowla @shakuntwitting @ReenuPunnoose @jvcasill I had success with a blank pdf to create the whiteboard effect with an iPad and cast that to the zoom shared screen. Then I was free to use a stylus to create much more readable and natural content.

Is there a workaround for running an experiment online via #psychopy3 and #pavlovia from inside a github repo? I have a sub directory called “exp” and i’d love for my @psychopy experiments to live there (in the main repo) but it seems that gitlab doesn’t want to play nicely.

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill abruptly decided it will no longer hold in-person classes on campus after about 130 students tested positive for Covid-19 in the first week since classes began cnn.it/320AfWf

Rough numbers on COVID-19 testing for a University campus. Say you want to test ~50,000 people (UA size) and to minimize spread you want to test once every 2 weeks That's about 5k test per day. Pima has about 2.5k per day! I like to hear the logistics of making that happen.

Now is a great time for us all to remember that we're in a novel situation w/evolving data. Recommendations and guidance change…bc they must. Calling scientists hypocritical bc we've evolved w/ the new info does us all a disservice. We've got to lean into the changes to improve
