There's now a new metadata on ASC called App Tags. It's automatically assigned to your app by Apple. You can't edit it, but you can opt out of specific tags if you don't want them.

asc cli is fantastic (and rudrank is a legend!). Especially when you want to get specific tasks done quickly and without much guidance from yourself. AscBuddy has a custom user interface on App Store Connect so you can monitor analytics, app reviews, competitors, etc in addition to the tools that help you manage and automate your App Store listing. For localization in particular, AscBuddy has features like letting you specify protected Brand words and phrases that should not be translated. And a visual Matrix to let you easily see, modify, export all fields in all languages for individual tweaks.

Friends don't let friends use App Store Connect without AscBuddy It will completely change your mindset around managing and optimizing your app's App Store listing. Dare we say... you might actually *enjoy* being on App Store Connect 😱

Auto-draft, not fire-and-forget. AscBuddy creates the missing listing locales and drafts the fields with protected terms + App Store limits handled, but I’d still native-review CJK / important markets before submission, especially keywords and subtitle. The goal is less blank-field/copy-paste work, not skipping judgment. There is also the Localization-Matrix tool that lets you edit easily (see attached screenshot)

@AscBuddy nice, that's a real time sink gone. the spot auto-localization still wobbles is CJK — japanese/chinese store copy reads subtly MT'd (particles, keyword order) even when european langs come out clean. do you flag CJK for a native pass, or full-auto?
