I want to start off by saying that I give my thanks to God for everything he has given me and gotten me through these last four years of HS. I wouldn’t be where I am without him. Then I want to thank my family and friends, especially my mom, for being there for me and supporting me always. With that being said, I’m happy to announce my commitment to Wofford College! In typical Sam fashion, he sent me a picture of this plaque from school earlier this week without any explanation. I still don’t have a lot of information, but after learning a bit about it from his coach, I’m completely honored that he was a finalist for the Bronko Nagurski High School Student Athlete of the Year voted on by the Charlotte Touchdown Club. The Bronko Nagurski Trophy is a prestigious award given annually to the nation’s top defensive collegiate athlete voted by the Football Writer’s Association of America and the Charlotte Touchdown Club.
