@ReissNFFC I can say McGinn was left unmarked twice .. we basically had Hutchinson at left back who got caught high up leaving a massive whole on that side twice in a row. If Aina is there ( or any decent LB ) that doesn’t happen IMO

@ReissNFFC When you’re under constant pressure from pretty much the 10th minute, people make mistakes unfortunately. Not enough threat going forward, couldn’t get a handle in midfield and needing to play a CB at right back. Still expected far more, don’t get me wrong, but obvious issues

@ThornStinger On Vitor tonight unfortunately…thought we had it won at 1-0 and sat back…put 3 injured players on the bench for scare tactics and it all backfired massively

That’s that then. First and foremost well done Villa, exceptional tonight and are streets ahead of where we are. (We’ve got a long way to get there)! It just feels like games and injuries have caught up with us, especially MGW who is our best player by a distance. I think the way we’ve rolled over is the disappointing thing and the lack of ambition. Fact is, with these players out there it was just a step too far and they do lack quality. We’ve lost every individual battle, we’ve not competed in the challenge and it kind of looks like the occasion has got the better of the players. A semi final of a European competition is an achievement to have achieved but I spoke about having no regrets. It feels very much like we have those regrets as we’ve simply not laid a glove on them. Go and win the thing now #AVFC

Gotta say, I’m fairly appalled at this for my football club. This kid looks like a natural goalscorer but has never been given the opportunity to play to his strengths. Basically because he’s not 6 foot 4” then it doesn’t suit our style. Shocking recruitment and hope the lad goes and smashes it. When will we learn? #NFFC
