The oldest remaining Scania L94 we had in service at Nottingham (625) has now been withdrawn. At just shy of 20 years old it is true testament that these L94s are a proper workhorse. Apart from a spell at Loughborough this one spent it’s working life at Nottingham

@JackieB88529721 @alextransdev I appreciate it’s not a nice situation to find yourself in but you can’t expect them to run the service as charity. Sometimes these things can’t be helped

@JackieB88529721 @alextransdev If there is truly a need for a service, any school/council worth its reputation would tenure a contract. You can’t blame a privately operated route from being cut that runs at a loss. Be grateful they ran upto the holidays to accommodate the students.

@TFLSC75 @AbellioLondon @switchEVglobal Think ADL aren't able to provide a bus small enough for the route - I do think the Optare is smoother and rattles less though.

Noticed that the @AbellioLondon's new @switchEVglobal Metrocities were trickling into service on the 322 and popped down to London for a quick ride. They're very nice - it can be difficult to make a small bus feel high spec I think but it's a job well done here 👍.

That’s nearly double what it was supposed to be!! And BwD can’t even be bothered to clean it properly🙄

Off to Manchester for a child free day with my husband. Last councillor plug- Got the bus from the 'new' bus station in Rawtenstall. It's fab. Warm, dry and most importantly, safe! See - this is what you get with a Labour led Council. Well done @AlysonDBarnes and team
