@MattWalls99 @T0m906 @AJH85_ @AlbzSFC That's not what the conditions of travel say. Any combination of tickets can be used for a single journey, provided the train stops at the stations where you change tickets.

@T0m906 @MattWalls99 @AJH85_ @AlbzSFC Exactly this. They don't know how you bought them. Or care how you bought them. You could have one e-ticket in your phone and another printed ticket from a ticket office, and it wouldn't make any difference.

@AshValeCommuter @T0m906 @AJH85_ @AlbzSFC 🙄 You know what I mean. They’re shown together like this, and you swipe between the 2 tickets. That is not the case when you buy the tickets separately.

@MattWalls99 @T0m906 @AJH85_ @AlbzSFC It might look like you've bought one ticket in the app, but you've actually bought multiple tickets in one transaction. This is obvious if you collect from a station, as they'll be printed separately.

@MattWalls99 @T0m906 @AJH85_ @AlbzSFC The rail staff don't know how you purchased the tickets. Holding multiple tickets for the same journey give you the same rights regardless of how or where you bought them.

@T0m906 @AshValeCommuter @AJH85_ @AlbzSFC You might get a sympathetic staff member but you don’t have the right until National Rail T&Cs as you do with a split ticket. That peace of mind is worth a 70p fee to me.

@AJH85_ @T0m906 @AlbzSFC The train operator website won't have suggested the split ticket, so they've saved money overall. Of course they could buy the splits directly, but may think £2.79 is worth the lack of effort.

@T0m906 @AlbzSFC It’s mental, people can’t think and book anything directly They don’t realise Trainline is a ticketing agent so almost always more expensive

Google Photos has collated a reel of all my recent beer photos 🍺. Starting to think I'm taking too many photos of beer 😅.

Sat in my local 'spoons earlier and noticed they have a platinum "loo of the year award" sticker in the window. The standard must be extremely low if they've won platinum 😅.

The men's toilet nearly always has a leaking urinal. And only one sink, with a tap that is loose.

@flyinglawyer73 @lewis_goodall Established by a treaty. The treaty can be torn up. Treaties fall apart all the time. If the Brits refuse to leave the Cypriots can cause all kinds of problems for the base like cutting power and water to it rendering it useless. A million+ locals will win out over time.

@PolitlcsUK A British passport issued by the Gibraltar government is £77.50. It's the same document, other than an extra lines of text on the cover. Why is it so much more expensive in the UK?
