Like fundamentally, the actual issue with gacha games is because of who they're actually made for, they're often not really games. They are validation simulators. This is why everyone is your best friend husband wife, and why the player character is super special awesome dude.

As someone that has played a few gacha games, the genre is designed for the lowest common denominator in the truest definition of the phrase. They're designed for people who wanted to play only the mindless grind part of MMOs, but also wanted to pay money to skip the grind.

But here's the kicker, then you have the end games which often are actually genuinely difficult, designed to test your skill because what else is there to do after the grind? Well, the players bitch and cry that the game is too hard, for their entitled p2w slug brain.
