even when watching Fernando Mendoza at Cal, it was how he operated on late downs, in the redzone, and in 2 minute situations that really won me over. he’s played in some heavy RPO offenses, but there are plenty of true dropback concepts to watch him execute on.

It's a lot of fun to watch Fernando Mendoza operate on 3rd and 4th down. He shows off a real understanding of the presnap operation and how to sort things out postsnap. And that's before you get to see his arm zip, aggressiveness, and ball placement on some of these throws.

Only other thing I've got is that I tend to skew defensive when I'm picking. I tend to go with many more defensive players than offensive ones. So many positions of need on defense. Feels like offense is more set. End of thread

Other thoughts: I have no idea what the #Raiders do for WR1. May not be this year. Would love your thoughts on who might be good later in the draft for a strong X. Safety class seems deep, can likely get a good player day 3.

Took a look at the new #Raiders FA contracts this morning on Over The Cap and despite the 3 year label they are essentially all "2 years and we'll see." They all carry a small amount of dead money in year 3 but also significant savings.
