Cuckoo! ... Cuckoo! Our team got this clock from the Black Forest In Germany ticking, rolling and chirping again, some weeks after arriving in pieces, having tumbled to the floor. Thank you to it's owner for the chance to repair this carving and mechanism.

At Repair Cafe Ashford, our woodwork section builds bird boxes and feeders, bat boxes and hedgehog huts, plus coasters and other trinkets, from upcycled wood. This rescues spare wood from the fire or landfill and avoids emissions from producing and shipping new items.

After overcoming some hurdles, the Ashford Repair Cafe is back on the horse and back in the race to rescue your items from the rubbish heap! This repaired porcelain figurine, belongs to an ex-jockey and his family. The tail and ear have been reattached and the paint retouched.
