She did what she had to in order to get me referred me out to a psychologist who made the formal diagnosis and helped me get my symptoms under control while I managed my grief. But I never forgot the male doctor asking me how much cocaine I had done before arrival (none, btw.)

Anyway, after being left on a gurney with a port in my arm for five hours, it was obviously not a heart attack, but I was still stressed. A female nurse who had been observing me recognized my symptoms, asked me compassionate questions, and immediately knew it was anxiety.
